PDF to Excel

Convert PDF to Excel free in your browser: tables, bank statements and invoices extracted into XLSX rows and columns by text position.

No loginNo file storageInstant & free

Turn text-based PDFs — bank statements, invoices, reports — into a real Excel workbook. The converter reads the position of every piece of text, reconstructs rows and columns from the layout, converts numeric cells into actual numbers, and writes one sheet per page. You get a live preview of the first page, plus a CSV option. Sensitive financial files never leave your browser.

How it works

  1. Drop your PDF (text-based, not a scan).
  2. Click Convert to Excel — each page becomes a worksheet.
  3. Check the on-screen preview of page one.
  4. Open the downloaded .xlsx, or grab the CSV version instead.

Frequently asked questions

Will it work on my bank statement?

Yes, if the statement is a digital PDF (you can select its text). Numbers like 12,450 become real numeric cells, so SUM and filters work immediately.

My PDF converts to empty cells — why?

It's a scanned PDF (a picture of text). Run it through our Image to Text (OCR) tool first, then paste the text into a sheet — or wait for our OCR-to-Excel pipeline.

How accurate is the table detection?

Very good on clean, column-aligned layouts; multi-line cells or decorative layouts may need a minute of cleanup in Excel. Detection is based on text positions and gaps, the same approach desktop converters use.

Is my financial data uploaded?

No — extraction and the Excel file are produced entirely inside your browser.
